How do we work?
Our main goal is to achieve a flawless translation, caring for every word so its not taken out of context and preserve the nature and intention of the message.
1.
We receive the document, audio or video that requires translation to prepare a quotation for you. In this request, we will need to know the estimated time in which you need to have the work finished.
2.
We evaluate if it is “technical” or “colloquial” and we will send you a detailed quotation including the date of completion.
3.
Once you confirm the quotation, we will need a 50% deposit, an email and phone number to begin translating on the following business day.
4.
If necessary, we will contact you with some questions, mostly about communicational intention and/or content coherence.
5.
Once the translation is finished, it will be reviewed by another translator of our team, to assure the quality of the work. We do this because we believe that taking distance is necessary to detect possible gramatical, lexical or spelling errors.
6.
We will notify you that the work is done, and we will need the 50% balance payment, to send you the translated material.
7.
You will have 7 days to check the work done and request any kind of correction.
8.
That’s it. We are done 🙂
If you would like or need to make modifications (for example, in your original project) we can do it, although this may incur in additional expenses, always approved by you.

TECHNICAL - COLLOQUIAL
Technical writing implies higher difficulty language use or the need of knowing specific terms, usually for specific subjects or matters of study. This makes it more time consuming because it requires time to research the topic in question. Colloquial refers to the language used in everyday life and it’s off common knowledge of all civilians.
AWARENESS DISCOUNT
We offer a special discount for those commissions that are related to conservation/preservation of our environment or social well being and seek to create a positive impact in our society. (please check out our Rates Section).
VOLUME DISCOUNT
We also have a discount for a high volume of work. This applies if your commission has a high volume of words/minutes or several projects in a time frame. It is important that you mention this when you contact us.
CONFIDENTIALITY
We value the time you have dedicated to your project. Every document that it’s sent to us won’t be shared with anyone. They will remain in our archives for 1 year, just in case you need to modify it, and it will then be erased, unless you require immediate elimination.
